It was an incredible day hosted and organised by second year  students, dlisc. to bid farewell for their seniors.The programme started at 11.30 am with a prayer followed by delivering a few soothing felicitations by the Dr. Muhammed Haneefa sir. Head of the department., Dr. Gopikuttan sir, Dr. T.M Vasudevan sir, Dr. Sajna, Mr.Salih and Librarian Mr. Prasanth.

Seminar: Survival Strategies for LIS Profession

Department of Library & Information Science has conducted a One Day Seminar on Survival Strategies for Libraries and Librarianship In the Digital Environment. The seminar was presented by Dr. Vijaya Kumar K. P. Former Head, Department of Library & Information Science & Hon. Director, Centre for Information Literacy Studies, University of Kerala. He  dealt with what are the strategies which have to undertaken by the library professional enough to survive in the new digital era. The seminar was a tribute to Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, The class was interesting.Dr. Muhammed Haneefa, Hod, Department of Library & Information Science presided the functon and Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Prasanth Mavily, Department Librarian
