Internship program of 2019 - 2021 batch of MLibISc students was started from August 9, 2021, at Department Library under the guidance of librarian Mr. Prashanth M. Students are made familiar with Stock verification, KOHA etc.
Stock verification comprises Verifying accession numbers and finding out the missing books, Ordering and shelving the books, dissertations, thesis, and newspapers in the stack.
The KOHA entry includes several functions like Classification, Cataloguing, Adding new entries for documents and patrons, Editing of existing registries, etc.
The students were well informed about the various aspects of the library through this internship.
