 A Career Talk about LIS Jobs in Gulf Countries was conducted online and was jointly organized by DELISAA and Department of Library & Information Science on 7th December At 11.30 am. The Resource person was Sayeed Jaleel Mashhoor, Executive, Library, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Science, Dubai. He is our alumni too. The program was presided by HOD Dr. Muhammed Haneefa. Dr. Vasudevan T.M. gave the welcome address. The program was attended by 73 participants. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr Syamili. The webinar was very well presented and was very useful to those seeking employment in Gulf Countries and was a interactive one.

BLISc./MLISc. 2003-06 Batch Alumni Meet on 08/01/2021

 BLISc./MLISc. 2003-06 Batch Alumni Meet was conducted on 08/01/2021 at the Department of Library & Information Science from 10 am to 3.30pm. The program was presided by Dr. Muhammed Haneefa. Dr. Shibu welcomed the gathering. Former Head Dr. Jalaja inaguarated the alumni meet by lighting the Lamp. Teachers Dr. Jalaja Madam, Dr. Vasudevan T.M., Dr. Muhammed Haneefa, Dr. Dineeshan Koovakkai, Dr. Mansoor Babu, Dr. Syamili and Kathalika was honoured by the batch by giving momento and ponnada. A video showing memories of the alumni batch were displayed. The alumni batch handed over Rs 10000 toward the fund raising program of DELISAA.Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sasi P. K. Group photo session was organized. A grant lunch starting with  soup were arranged by alumni batch. Afternoon session cultural programs such as passing the cap, singing, identifying childhood photos of batch mates and dance were conducted. The  alumni meet was well organganized and 22 alumnies participated and special thanks to BLISc/MLISc 2003-06 Batch for organizing such a memorable meet.
