Reading day was celebrated by Department of Library and Information Science as an online program titled: "Reading in Covid time: The Models of Survival". The program was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Azeez T.A., University Librarian, University of
Calicut. The chief guest of the program was Ms. K P Radhamani, who is famous as "The Walking Librarian". She is known for delivering library books by walking; to the people of Mothakkara village, Wayanad , Kerala.
The program was presided by Dr. Mohamed Haneefa K, General Convener, Professor & Head, DLISc., University of Calicut. Welcome speech was given by Dr. Syamili C, Assistant Professor, DLISc., University of
Calicut.
Prof. Vasudevan, T.M., Mr. Mohanan A., Mr. Prasanth M., Mr. Salih C K and Mr. Abdul Latheef shared their views. Vote of Thanks was given by Mr. Abhinand S R.
