As part of induction program for newly joined M L I Sc students a talk on 'Job opportunities in LIS '' was delivered by Somipam R Shimray, Assistant Professor, Department of Library & Information Science,School of Information Science and Technology, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow on 08/08/2022 from 10.00 am to 11.30am. Dr. Muhammed Haneefa K, HOD presided over the function. Dr. Syamili C. introduced the resource person and delivered the welcome address. Somipam delivered excellent talk on the library job opportunities in the government sector (State & National) and private sector. Students got an idea of the job opportunities in the corporate sector, higher educational institutions and central government library job opportunities. 64 students participated. Dr. Vasudevan T,M. delivered Vote of Thanks.
