We are delighted to announce that our department's team—Sunisha P. P. (Research Scholar), Athira K. (M.Lib.I.Sc. student, 2022–24 batch), and Syamili C. (Assistant Professor)—has won the Second-Best Paper Award at the prestigious "International Conference on Libraries at the Crossroads: Balancing Tradition and Technology" held at Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, from December 19–21, 2024.

Their paper, titled "India's Retraction Landscape: What Do the Numbers Tell Us?" received acclaim for its insightful analysis and contribution to its field.

This achievement is a testament to their hard work, endless passion, and the spirit of collaboration. The department takes immense pride in their success and congratulates them on this well-deserved recognition.

2024 Christmas Celebration

 

The festive spirit filled the air as our department celebrated Christmas on December 20, 2024, at 5 PM. The event brought together teachers, staffs, scholars, and students, fostering a sense of unity and joy. 

The celebration began with our HOD greeting everyone with Christmas wishes, followed by the cake-cutting and everyone sharing the delicious treat as a symbol of warmth and goodwill.

Celebrating Success: Our Alumna Achieves First Rank in Kerala PSC Exam
