Mr. Simjith V. successfully defended his Ph.D. Viva Voce examination under the study titled "Epic as a Dynamic Library: an Extrapolative study of the Mahabharata" under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Vasudevan T.M. at smart classroom of Department of Library and Information Science on 19/11/2024. He is the Fifth research scholar who submitted Ph.D. under the guidance Prof. Dr. Vasudevan T. M.
Dr. Khaisar Muneebulla Khan, Retired Professor, Mangalore University was the external examiner. Around 70 people, consisting of faculties, library professionals, research scholars and PG students attended the open defence.
