A Farewell for 2022-24 Batch

The Department organized a heartfelt farewell program to bid adieu to the senior batch students on July 11, 2024. The event took place in the Department Seminar Hall and was an emotional yet celebratory occasion. The preparations for the event were predominantly carried out by the enthusiastic second-year students, who poured their hearts into ensuring a memorable send-off for their seniors.

The program was hosted by Ameera. The inauguration was conducted by Dr. T. M. Vasudevan, Professor and Head of the Department, who delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the achievements and contributions of the senior batch throughout their time in the department.

Dr. Syamili C., led the felicitation ceremony, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the students. The program featured insightful talks by all other staffs. Special accolades were given to Umer Neseef and Arshad for their remarkable achievement of qualifying the UGC-NET examination, and Ms. Ahalya V. was honored for securing a prestigious placement as a Library and Information Assistant at NIT, Calicut. 

 

In a touching segment, students from the passing-out batch took the stage to share their personal experiences and cherished memories from their time on campus. Their stories, filled with laughter and emotion, painted a vivid picture of their journey and the strong bonds they had formed. The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the smiles of the day.

The farewell program was not just a send-off; it was a celebration of achievements, a reflection on the past, and a hopeful look towards the future. As the seniors embark on their new journeys, they carry with them the best wishes and fond memories from their time in the department.
