SWAYAM NPTEL - Exploring the Platform

 
An insightful talk was delivered by Dr. Vinod V. M., University Librarian i/c, CHMK Library on SWAYAM NPTEL, a project of MHRD which is an innovative platform aimed at enhancing education through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), on 6th August 2024 at 10.30 am in the smart classroom of the Department. The program was organized by FLISS.

The talk highlighted the key features, of the platform, including its extensive range of courses across various disciplines, which are developed and taught by esteemed faculties of the top Indian institutions. Dr. Vinod emphasized how SWAYAM NPTEL offers free access to high-quality educational resources, making learning more accessible to students everywhere. He also addressed the impact of SWAYAM NPTEL on lifelong learning and professional development, showcasing real-life examples of how individuals and institutions have benefited from the platform. Dr. Vasudevan T M , Professor and Head of the Department presided over the function. 80 participants attended the talk. Dr. Syamili C, Assistant Professor delivered Vote of Thanks.
